Description
“The Switch” tells the story of Leena Cotton, a driven young woman in her twenties, and her seventy-nine-year-old grandmother, Eileen. After Leena is mandated to take a two-month sabbatical from work due to a professional mishap, she visits Eileen in her Yorkshire village. Eileen, recently single and seeking a second chance at love, finds the local dating scene lacking. Together, they decide to swap lives: Eileen moves to London to explore new romantic opportunities, while Leena takes over her grandmother’s responsibilities in the village. This arrangement leads both women on journeys of self-discovery, as they navigate new environments, relationships, and personal challenges.
