Tastes Like Shakkar is the second installment in Nisha Sharma’s “If Shakespeare Were an Auntie” series, inspired by Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. The story follows Bobbi Kaur, a determined wedding planner aiming to prove herself by flawlessly organizing her best friend’s wedding. However, she faces two significant challenges: collaborating with the egotistical yet alluring chef Benjamin “Bunty” Padda, and thwarting a mysterious saboteur intent on ruining the wedding. As Bobbi and Bunty navigate pre-wedding events, including a masquerade fundraiser and a joint bachelor-bachelorette trip to Vegas, their initial animosity gives way to undeniable chemistry.
